A fishing family. A hometown table.

Our story begins in 1955, when the Goergen family first began fishing the Pacific. Four generations of hard work and life on the water brought us here: home to Brookings-Harbor, Oregon.

Our family built F/V Catalyst from an unfinished hull over seven years. In 2012, she launched for her first Dungeness crab season. In 2016, we opened Catalyst Seafood Restaurant & Lounge in the former family-owned Chetco Seafood, giving our seasonal catches a place to come home.

Today, we catch our own fish and support other local fishermen along the Oregon and California coasts. What reaches the table follows the seasons, the boats, and the people who do the work.
